Graduates of the Law School of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU Law School) met with representatives of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in Primorsky Krai. Students were told about the peculiarities of service in the authorities, the advantages and opportunities of self-realization. The meeting was held by FEFU Rector Boris Korobets together with the head of the investigative Department, Major General of Justice Vladimir Fomin.

The work requires high qualifications, knowledge of legislation, ethics, honesty and fairness. You need to be prepared for the fact that you will have to study and work hard to reach career heights. The theoretical and practical base that you have received at the university will be the first step towards professional success"- FEFU Rector Boris Korobets addressed the graduates.
The head of the Investigative Department, Major General of Justice Vladimir Fomin, told law students about the goals, tasks and activities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, how to get into the authorities, what position is possible to get right after university.
In addition, future lawyers were presented with the advantages of working in investigative bodies: a high level of salary, the possibility of professional growth and career advancement, social guarantees and benefits. For example, employees of the UK are provided with a longer annual paid leave — 45 days, instead of the standard 36.

Recall that the FEFU and the SU IC of the Russian Federation in Primorsky Krai signed a cooperation agreement in March 2018. An agreement was reached between the parties that employees of the investigative department will give lectures and give master classes to future lawyers, participate in the admission of state exams and the defense of graduation papers. In addition, employees of investigative bodies will be able to improve their qualifications at the university, and students of the FEFU Law School will be able to undergo training, production and pre—graduate practice in the department.
The FEFU Law School is the center of legal education in the Far East. For more than 60 years, highly qualified personnel in the field of law have been trained here, remaining faithful to traditions and introducing modern technologies into the educational process. FEFU is the only one in the Far East that carries out educational programs at all levels of legal education.
